DIRECTIONS TO NYSTEC - ROME Toastmasters Club
Directions from Syracuse & points west: Head east on the NYS Thruway and exit at Exit 33. Merge onto Route 365 East (a right turn after the exit), which becomes Rte. 49 within a mile of the Griffiss Business & Technology Park (formerly the Griffiss Air Force Base). The park is about 12 miles from the Thruway. Exit Rte. 49 at the Griffiss Park exit. You'll enter the park through the Skyline Gate (on Griffiss Parkway, which is also Rte. 825).
Directions from Albany & points east: Head west on the NYS Thruway to Exit 32 (Westmoreland). Proceed along Rte. 233 North about four miles until you reach the intersection with Rte. 69. Follow the signs directing you to Griffiss Park. Take a right onto Rte. 69, then a quick left onto Route 365 East, which becomes Rte. 49 within a mile of the Griffiss Park exit. You'll enter the park through the Skyline Gate (on Griffiss Parkway, which is also Rte. 825).
Once you're in the park: Proceed down Griffiss Parkway (Rte. 825). Continue past the day-care center on your left and through the stoplight at the Brookley Rd. intersection to the traffic circle at the bottom of the hill. Continue straight though the traffic circle at the bottom of the hill, remaining on Griffiss Parkway (Rte. 825 - the second right)
When the road narrows to two lanes, look for Avery Lane, a left turn just before the AmeriCU Credit Union. Take a left onto Avery. The NYSTEC building is behind AmeriCU on the right. It's a light-gray building with sky-blue trim in a small business development with similar buildings.
